- ability to operate laundry machines
- physical ability to lift and move laundry items
- ability to follow safety procedures
- ability to maintain productivity standards
- good organizational skills
- willingness to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or general education degree (GED)
- no prior experience required
- previous laundry experience preferred
- first aid certification preferred
Job Duties
- Sorts linen such as terry, sheets, pillowcases
- weigh linen and load in washers
- load dryers
- know the operating function of the machines
- be able to maintain productivity standards on a daily basis
- fold linen and sheets according to proper standards
- place folded linen on marked shelves
