Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds
  • Must be able to communicate with all customers and associates professionally
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Must be able to perform assigned tasks by management
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Previous customer service or retail experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in customer service or retail preferred
  • Ability to communicate professionally with customers and associates
  • Knowledge of basic cash handling and register operation
  • Ability to resolve customer issues and complaints effectively
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and follow company policies and procedures
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Provide assistance to customers with laundry cards, machine selection and operation, retail sales purchases, wash and fold orders, and any other questions or concerns
  • Use the cash register or point of retail sale computer accurately
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of products sold and encourage customers to purchase additional items
  • Keep retail sales items neatly stocked and communicate with management about inventory or janitorial supplies
  • Utilize log books to report building or equipment maintenance issues and inform supervisors of unsafe situations
  • Address customer concerns and complaints, informing supervisors as necessary
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures including attendance and uniform standards
  • Follow safe practices to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Understand and respond appropriately to emergency situations such as fires, floods, and severe weather
  • Maintain a safe environment both inside and outside the store
  • Regularly clean the store by picking up debris, emptying trash, and checking bathrooms
