Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping or laundry experience in a skilled nursing facility, hospital, or similar healthcare environment
- physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or sit for long periods
- ability to operate industrial laundry machinery
- effective communication skills in English
- availability to work flexible hours including full-time, part-time, or PRN shifts
- ability to work cooperatively with team members
Job Qualifications
- experience working as part of a housekeeping or laundry department in a hospital or nursing home setting
- able to follow directions and communicate effectively in English
- able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or sit for long periods
- able to operate industrial washers, dryers, labeling, and dispensing machines
- able to work a flexible schedule and work as part of a team
Job Duties
- perform daily housekeeping duties including common area cleaning regularly
- dusting, mopping, sanitizing, and cleaning
- pick up and deliver laundry
- sort, wash, and fold laundry
- operate industrial washers and dryers
- label and dispense laundry items
- follow directions and communicate effectively in English
- work as part of a team to accomplish department goals
