Job Requirements
- General knowledge of laundry systems critical to safety and welfare
- Previous experience in laundry services is desirable
- Ability to walk long distances and stand for long periods
- Ability to push, pull or lift a minimum of 25 pounds and a maximum of 50 pounds with assistance
- Mandatory wearing of a safety belt

Job Duties
- Cleaning and folding laundry for residents and restaurant linens according to established policies, procedures, and health regulations
- Keeping soiled laundry separate from clean laundry
- Checking personal clothes to ensure proper identification including ironing of independent personals
- Reporting any lost, damaged, or unclaimed clothing items to Lead/Supervisor
- Delivering all linens and resident's clothing to appropriate floors and rooms including independent items
- Maintaining daily record keeping
- Filling in for other housekeeping duties as necessary
