Job Requirements
- Must successfully pass mandated criminal background checks
- must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
- must be able to pass pre-employment reference checks
- must provide official grade transcripts of education level
- must provide copy of social security card for W-4 documentation
- must provide documentation for I-9 to establish identity and work authorization
- must have valid driver’s license, personal automobile liability insurance, and acceptable driving record if required to drive
Job Qualifications
- Six months experience in nursing home or motel hotel laundry environment preferred
- ability to read and understand English
- positive attitude and ability to work well with team members
- knowledge of customer service principles
- understanding of English language structure and grammar
- service orientation
- coordination and flexibility
- problem sensitivity
Job Duties
- Collect and carry linens and towels using wheeled carts
- sort, wash, dry, fold and deliver linens and clothing efficiently
- complete all assignments accurately within scheduled time frames
- clean common area bathrooms on weekends
- keep storage areas well-stocked, clean and tidy
- replenish supplies such as linens and towels in all required areas
- adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality
