Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous housekeeping and laundry experience desired
  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to complete assignments thoroughly and on time
  • Ability to work well with others as part of a team
  • Polite and courteous to all residents, visitors, co-workers and management team
  • Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, grasp, push and pull for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs and carry objects for up to 20 feet
  • Must wear designated uniform during work hours and maintain good personal hygiene
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Ensure assigned areas are clean, sanitary, safe and orderly
  • Launder personal laundry items, linens, towels, blankets and departmental laundry per company procedures
  • Fold laundry items and return them to correct locations in a timely manner
  • Follow established sanitation and safety guidelines
  • Work cooperatively with team members and management
  • Maintain a polite and courteous attitude towards residents, visitors, and co-workers
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
