Job Requirements
- Ability to operate commercial washers, dryers, and ironing equipment
- ability to lift and carry heavy loads up to 40 pounds
- attention to detail and organizational skills
- availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a laundry or housekeeping role advantageous
- knowledge of laundry care and fabric handling
- basic understanding of safety and sanitation standards
- ability to operate commercial laundry equipment
Job Duties
- Sort and separate linens, towels, and uniforms before washing
- operate washers, dryers, and folding machines safely and efficiently
- inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage before processing
- fold, organize, and store clean items neatly in designated areas
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area at all times
- monitor chemical levels and report equipment malfunctions to management
- follow proper safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- assist with inventory counts and report shortages when needed
