Job Requirements
- previous experience in environmental services preferable but not essential
- willingness to work under supervision
- ability to cooperate
- interest in learning
- ability to work scheduled shifts including weekends and holidays
- must complete pre-employment and annual tuberculosis screening examination

Job Duties
- clean and service rooms, baths, lavatories, offices, and facility common areas
- clean window sills
- empty trash baskets
- dust
- polish
- sweep
- mop
- arrange furniture in an organized fashion to keep the facility clean and orderly
- wash, dry, fold, and dispense linens and resident's clothing
- return clean linen to linen storage quickly
- promptly return clean resident's clothing to the appropriate owner
- maintain laundry equipment in a clean manner
- remove lint from dryer
- ensure tumblers are clean and appropriate
- ensure processed linens and clothing are clean, wrinkle-free, and appropriate for resident use before placing in service
