Job Requirements

Must be able to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs
ability to bend, stoop, reach, wipe, lift, and grasp
sufficient mobility to operate in a confined work area
able to work inside and outside the restaurant
able to read tickets, recipes, and product specifications
able to hear well in a loud environment
able to work with hazardous chemicals
tolerate extreme temperature changes in kitchen and freezer areas
work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends

Job Qualifications

Must be 18 years old or older
possess basic math skills including understanding of units of measure
meet any state, county, or municipal health regulations related to food handling
able to pass all required tests and training
possess excellent guest service skills
dependable and able to learn basic tasks
reasonable ability to communicate in English orally and in writing
value diversity and show respect for others

Job Duties

Prepare and present food to order following Denny's menu and food specifications
honor guest requests for special orders
correctly call the wheel
clean, complete side work and organize supplies as required
monitor waste and food cost controls
assist other team members proactively
provide total guest satisfaction
