Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs
  • must have sufficient mobility to move and operate in confined work areas
  • able to tolerate extreme temperature changes
  • able to work with potentially hazardous chemicals
  • must meet all federal, state, and local food safety regulations
  • able to pass all required tests and training
  • dependable and able to learn basic tasks and follow instructions

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • possess excellent guest service skills
  • able to read tickets, recipes, and product specifications
  • able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
  • basic math skills including understanding units of measure
  • able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • value diversity and show respect for others

Job Duties

  • Prepare and present food following Denny's menu and brand standards
  • honor guest requests for special orders
  • correctly call the wheel and manage dish timing
  • clean and complete side work and organize supplies
  • monitor waste and control food costs
  • assist other team members willingly
  • provide total guest satisfaction
