Job Requirements
- must be 18 years old or older
- able to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
- able to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs
- able to bend, stoop, reach, wipe, lift and grasp
- sufficient mobility to move in confined work area
- able to work inside and outside the restaurant
- able to work with all menu products
- must be able to read tickets, recipes, and product specifications
- able to hear well in loud environment
- meet all health risk regulations related to food handling
- able to work with potentially hazardous chemicals
- tolerate extreme temperature changes in kitchen and freezer areas
- pass all required tests and training
- work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- must be 18 years old or older
- possess excellent guest service skills
- be dependable and able to learn basic tasks and follow instructions
- able to communicate in English both orally and in writing
- have basic math skills including understanding units of measure
- place value on diversity and show respect for others
- able to observe and ensure product preparation meets brand standards
Job Duties
- prepare food according to Denny's menu and brand standards
- honor guest requests for special orders
- call the wheel correctly
- clean, complete side work, and organize supplies
- monitor waste and control food costs
- assist other team members willingly
- provide total guest satisfaction
