Job Requirements
- US citizenship
- A minimum ILR 4 in listening, speaking, reading and writing in the target language
- A minimum ILR L3/R3/S3/W3 in English
- Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching foreign languages to adult students
- Experience in word processing using foreign fonts
- Familiarity with working in a Windows (MS Office) environment
- Ability to develop lesson plans and prepare supplementary materials
- Experience using templates to create computer assisted instruction lessons
- Experience in the operation and use of modern classroom and web-based technologies
- Availability to work 8-hour shifts or as required by the customer

- Experience creating computer assisted instruction lessons using templates
- Proficient in the operation and use of modern classroom and web-based technologies
- Preferred experience teaching foreign languages to military students
- Preferred 5+ years of experience teaching foreign languages to adults
Job Duties
- Teach adult professional students in preparation for the world of work utilizing current strategies and theories that address myriad adult learner individual differences
- Adapt authentic materials or repurpose traditional language materials using the Interagency Language Roundtable Language Skill Level Descriptions to tailor curricula to meet student needs
- Integrate audio, video, and computer assisted multi-media into the foreign language classroom
- Develop lesson plans and supplementary materials that enhance learning outcomes
- Utilize modern classroom and web-based technologies such as interactive whiteboards and touchscreens to facilitate instruction
- Create computer assisted instruction lessons and homework materials using templates
- Assess and monitor student progress to ensure achievement of language proficiency goals
