Job Requirements

  • Education relevant to transportation or customer service
  • two years of customer service experience in airport operations or transportation environment
  • availability for evening and overnight shifts including weekends
  • ability to pass TSA and FBI background checks
  • residency in Washington state within 30 days of employment
  • proficiency in access control and tracking systems
  • valid Traffic Control Flagger Certification is desired but not required

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of customer service experience in airport operations or transportation environment
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Veoci
  • excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • strong judgment and ability to apply rules fairly
  • tactful conflict resolution skills
  • understanding of equity principles

Job Duties

  • Impose transportation-related rules and regulations by issuing citations and warnings to non-compliant operators
  • maintain contact with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with government regulations
  • educate operators and drivers on Port policies and procedures
  • monitor transportation network company activities and traffic flow via onsite inspections and CCTV
  • conduct quarterly inspections and audits for on-demand taxis to maintain contract and regulatory compliance
  • assist with permit sales and maintain digital filing systems
  • design and evaluate process improvement initiatives for permit sales and operator check-ins
  • provide wayfinding assistance and information to passengers and operators
  • collaborate with teams to disseminate information and assist with incident and emergency response
  • train new hires and oversee parking area compliance for contractors
