Job Requirements

  • minimum 5 years cooking experience
  • minimum 2 years banquet chef experience preferred
  • valid food/beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • able to read, write and speak English
  • meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
  • minimum 2 years kitchen management experience
  • college degree or certification in culinary or hospitality field preferred

Job Duties

  • supervise and coordinate food preparation activities
  • purchase and requisition kitchen ingredients and supplies

  • supervise stewarding to ensure cleanliness
  • supervise cooks to maintain food quality and presentation
  • manage inventory, storage, and distribution of food supplies
  • ensure compliance with safety and health standards
