Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Grounds maintenance or labor experience required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work full-time with a flexible schedule
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to assist with event and maintenance duties as assigned
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Experience in grounds maintenance or labor
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic lawn maintenance preferred
- Experience with maintenance and landscaping equipment preferred
- Ability to stand or walk for eight hours or more in a fast-paced indoor/outdoor environment
- Ability to reach with hands and arms in any direction and kneel, stoop, bend, and climb stairs
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds
- Bi-lingual Spanish and English language skills a plus
Job Duties
- Perform venue gardening tasks including leaf-blowing, planting, watering, trimming, and garden maintenance ensuring landscaping health and adherence to event timelines
- Maintain and repair hardscapes as needed
- Perform minor maintenance duties as directed
- Assist with event-day floral and greenery design as needed
- Assist the Event Planner and venue openers with set-up duties when necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
