Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience bartending in a high-volume capacity preferred
- Lifts and transports up to 100 lbs
- Frequently reaches, lifts, stoops, bends and cleans to maintain service area
- Walks and stands during entire shift
- English reading, writing, and math skills required
- Possible job hazards include slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess any required certifications
- Able to communicate effectively with managers, guests and teammates by speaking and comprehending English
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume capacity preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Strong guest service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of responsible alcohol service policies
- Ability to follow company guidelines and procedures
- Positive attitude and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Complete steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction
- Understand and describe menu offerings, packaging, presentation, and pricing
- Establish rapport with guests and members
- Effectively use suggestive and upselling techniques
- Exceed guest expectations consistently
- Adhere to location appearance guidelines
- Act with urgency and provide friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests
- Deliver properly prepared beverages in a timely manner
- Respond to guest needs and requests
- Maintain service areas
- Follow cash handling and tip reporting guidelines
- Accurately use POS system
- Employ good safety and sanitation practices
- Follow responsible alcohol service policies
- Practice proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
- Follow Core Levy beverage recipes and specifications
- Complete all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities thoroughly
- Communicate guest issues to management
- Adhere to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines as stated in training manual and employee handbook
- Display a positive attitude toward teammates and managers
- Help fellow team members when necessary
- Always be on time and ready to perform all required duties
