Job Requirements
- Less than high school education
- Or up to one-month related experience or training
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years or older
- Must be available to work Memorial Day through Labor Day
- Must attend preseason training during the month of May and regular in-service training sessions
Job Duties
- Check all vehicles for appropriate season pass stickers and direct patrons to the appropriate parking areas
- Advise all non-resident patrons of fee schedules associated with parking and beach access
- Assist with daily fee transactions when necessary
- Assist with issuing parking decals and seasonal memberships
- Become knowledgeable with Rectrac and parking kiosk
- Assist in traffic flow of the vehicles using the Rosewood Beach facility
- Enforce all policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service with a courteous and polite manner, including interactions with difficult patrons
- Perform other Park District-related duties as assigned
