Job Requirements
- Food manager certification or willingness to complete Philz Coffee Food Manager certification within first 30 days
- Ability to operate machinery, tools, and equipment
- Visual acuity for safety and accuracy
- Ability to remain stationary for minimum 3 hours
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds intermittently and 3 pounds repetitively to shoulder height
- Ability to grasp, finger, and reach
- Ability to express or exchange information verbally
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years experience managing a fast paced, high volume, customer service-oriented business preferably in food service or retail
- Proven ability to manage financial health including profitability and cost management
- Strong business acumen
- Demonstrated ability to create inclusive, dynamic team environments
- Experience recruiting, motivating, training, and retaining teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Job Duties
- Provide frontline leadership to team members
- Manage the financial health of the store including P&L oversight
- Establish and cultivate a culture aligned with Philz core values
- Train and develop team members for professional growth
- Maximize financial performance by creating a great work environment
- Set goals, manage performance issues, and hold team accountable
- Partner with district recruiter to attract and retain diverse talent
