Job Requirements

  • Two years of experience supporting labor staffing in an entertainment environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • High school or equivalency diploma
  • One year of specialized experience may substitute for one year of college education
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to multitask and utilize complex payroll information
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call
  • Physical ability to remain stationary and lift up to 20 pounds
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening
  • Compliance with company policies and safety procedures
  • Availability to travel occasionally to on-site systems and facilities

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of experience supporting labor staffing in an entertainment environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College degree preferred
  • Good knowledge of show staffing principles and practices
  • Working knowledge of accounting and payroll procedures
  • Experience with union crewing preferred
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Customer service orientation and professionalism

Job Duties

  • Manage technical event staffing for concerts, corporate events, and trade shows
  • Create and submit labor estimates based on client requirements
  • Contact and confirm availability of lead personnel
  • Utilize client-preferred crew lists and fill in with qualified staff
  • Negotiate crew rates to fit within budget margins
  • Provide on-site supervision including monitoring sign-ins, breaks, and meals
  • Process weekly payroll hours
  • Advise clients and project managers on contractual compliance and financial impact
  • Resolve staffing issues including crew availability and adjustments
  • Provide documentation including timesheets, new hire paperwork, and incident reports
  • Onboard new hires into labor and payroll systems
  • Schedule and maintain labor events in proprietary platforms
  • Book travel arrangements for event personnel
  • Submit expense and travel reconciliation reports
  • Request purchase orders and follow up on payments
  • Attend weekly market meetings
  • Collaborate with sales and project management on labor costs and billing
  • Collect and input onboarding and safety certificates
  • Correspond with government agencies on employee matters
  • Work on-site as needed, including evenings and weekends
  • Coordinate with unions as required
  • Perform incidental tasks as assigned
