Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of music royalty experience or equivalent education in accounting or music business
- Experience administering music royalty systems
- Familiarity with contract abstract and licensing compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Basic knowledge of JDE system preferred
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organization
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to use PCs proficiently
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of music royalty administration experience preferred
- Solid proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Working knowledge of JDE system and analytics software preferred
- Familiarity with contract interpretation to ensure compliance in royalty payouts
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate effectively with IT staff regarding system file changes
- Proficient with PCs
- Demonstrated good decision-making and organizational skills
- Effective communication and task focus skills
- Ability to work independently with a forward-thinking and action-oriented mindset
Job Duties
- Administer Integrity Music label royalty systems including project setup, sales file loads, and recoupment cost calculations based on licensing and contracts
- Distribute label music royalty statements to external artists, producers, and publishers and produce internal business operation reports
- Analyze and interpret large sales data sets to prepare clean data for enterprise and label royalty systems
- Maintain cross-reference tables to support data processing
- Prepare and review sales files for royalty systems processing in US and UK markets
- Manage JDE work order system for music marketing and origination jobs ensuring accurate reporting
- Review quarterly royalty statements to verify accuracy of information and payments
- Perform accurate setup and maintenance of artist and mechanical royalty modules in accordance with contracts and licenses
- Prepare standard journal entries from royalty data
- Provide backup support to the Integrity team Royalty Specialist for Core/Running Club music products
- Assist in resolving royalty payee inquiries and support other royalty projects as needed
