Job Requirements

  • ba/bs degree in prevention science, social work, psychology, management, public administration, or a closely related field
  • minimum 3 years of leadership experience within a human subjects research lab or similar work environment
  • minimum 3 years of project management experience related to research in higher education, research organizations, or related environments
  • minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
  • experience conducting standardized assessments

Job Qualifications

  • experience conducting standardized assessments
  • extensive experience with Redcap and Qualtrics data collection tools
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, Dropbox, OneDrive, SharePoint, Zoom, Adobe Acrobat, Google Docs, and Concur Travel Software
  • exceptional time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • demonstrated cultural competence and respect for diverse backgrounds

Job Duties

  • manage the day-to-day operations of multiple federally funded research projects
  • provide training, direction, and support to project coordinators and co-investigators across research projects including other institutions
  • coordinate and oversee COHR Lab proposals, amendments, and annual reviews submitted to the university's Internal Review Board
  • manage project budgets including weekly spending plans, cost fluctuations, and award adjustments
  • facilitate external research consultant contracts
  • assist in preparing and collecting materials for grant proposals and annual project reviews
  • coordinate start-up activities for newly funded projects
  • supervise project coordinators, data managers, and programmers
  • provide oversight to additional project staff including assessment coordinators, interviewers, recruiters, and analysts
  • coordinate hiring, evaluations, and lab meeting schedules
