Job Requirements
- Associates or technical degree/certification in cosmetology or beauty related field
- minimum of 2 years cosmetics/skincare sales experience preferred
- strong verbal and written communications skills
- superior client service skills
- demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals
- knowledge of products and services to inspire purchases
- experience in prospecting and developing clientele
- ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment
- good knowledge and understanding of luxury beauty industry
- highly dependable
- flexible to work various schedules and some holidays
- must be self-starter
- able to follow through on assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- able to handle physical demands of retail environment including frequent standing and lifting over 50 pounds

- willingness to participate in ongoing vendor trainings.

Job Duties
- Drive retail sales by achieving or exceeding established sales goals
- provide elevated client service throughout all stages of client interaction from opening to follow-up
- perform skincare consultations and maintain high product knowledge
- greet and engage customers to create a welcoming environment
- nurture and build client relationships using CRM tools
- utilize strategic communication methods including emails, phone calls, texts, and social media
- demonstrate product demonstrations and sampling effectively
- sell with integrity and minimize customer returns
- make synergistic product recommendations through link selling
- build personalized cosmetic regimens across multiple brands
- participate actively in team selling activities
- accurately enter customer information into POS system
- communicate events and follow up with clients through clienteling
- develop personal relationships with customers
- promote Cos Bar social media outlets and loyalty programs
- stay current on brand knowledge, events, and store information
- book and confirm appointments for events
- collaborate with vendor Account Executives for event planning and execution
- maintain communication with vendors regarding supply needs
- adhere to dress code and store readiness policies
- complete assigned tasks independently and timely
- provide flexible scheduling and assist with store coverage as needed
- contribute to a positive work environment
- learn business processes including packing, receiving transfers, and store opening/closing
- utilize POS for transactions and inventory management
- assist with brand management responsibilities
- maintain organized and merchandised product displays
- communicate stock and trend information to buyers
- manage damages, returns, and samples according to policies
- adhere to enhanced Covid-19 guidelines
- receive and process payments.
