Job Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen
  • One year of supervisory or lead cook experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Willingness to adhere to safety and sanitation regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of progressive culinary experience
  • At least one year in a Lead Cook or Sous Chef role
  • Strong knowledge of diverse cooking methods and techniques
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Passion for culinary excellence and quality presentation

Job Duties

  • Manage hourly, back-of-house staff
  • Assist in day-to-day kitchen operations including production, prep, stewarding, purchasing, and receiving
  • Ensure food is properly prepared and presented on time
  • Lead the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • Maintain team cohesion and delegate tasks efficiently under pressure
  • Oversee special and private events
  • Uphold kitchen safety and sanitation standards
