Job Requirements

  • prior experience in customer service preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • familiarity with OpenTable preferred
  • ability to stay calm and effective under pressure

  • flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a host/hostess or customer service role preferred
  • familiarity with OpenTable or other reservation management systems preferred
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
  • strong problem-solving and customer service orientation
  • flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • welcome guests warmly and create a positive first impression
  • manage guest reservations and seating arrangements using OpenTable
  • coordinate effectively with kitchen and service staff to control guest flow and wait times
  • remain calm and professional under pressure to handle busy periods smoothly
  • observe guest behavior to assess satisfaction and proactively address issues
  • collaborate with team members to maintain a supportive and respectful working environment
  • assist guests with inquiries and provide information about menu and restaurant policies
