Job Requirements
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
- ability to move frequently during events and games
- ability to work in various climates preferred
- available to work home games, nights, and weekends
- strong customer service skills required
- ability to drive a truck and trailer recommended
- ability to ice skate at an advanced level preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalency
- 0-2 years related work experience
- skating experience strongly recommended for Hockey Development Team and Reign Ice Crew
- skating experience a plus for Promo Team
- experience teaching and coaching hockey preferred
- cheerleading, crowd leading, acting and/or dance experience a plus
- experience in photo and video content creation a plus
Job Duties
- Assist with on-ice and off-ice contests, promotions, and activities such as t-shirt tosses and prize giveaways
- assist with ice maintenance scraping during TV timeouts
- assist with pre and post-game ice time logistics
- aid with set-up and breakdown of interactives at fan fests
- provide excellent customer service and engagement to all fans and guests
- assist stage managers with miscellaneous tasks
- sell promotional items to benefit the Kings Care Foundation
- act as brand ambassadors for the LA Kings at outside community events
- assist at hockey clinics and community hockey events
- greet fans, participate in photo-ops
- set up mobile marketing activations and operate Ice Crew vehicles
- capture and create content for digital platforms
