Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • relevant hospitality or food service experience preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the basic functions of food operations
  • working knowledge of acceptable standards of sanitation and proper chemical usage
  • ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, staff, and guests
  • relevant experience in a high quality, high volume operation preferred

Job Duties

  • Become familiar with all menu items, wine, and spirits
  • take and deliver food and beverage orders to guests ensuring correct and prompt delivery of orders
  • enter order into computer system to request food preparation
  • observe guests to respond if additional service is required
  • prepare check and deliver to guests when finished
  • clear, clean, reset, and maintain station during shift
  • follow all proper cash, credit card, and room charge procedures
  • follow all proper check control procedures
  • perform other related duties as assigned
