Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- two years of intermediate cooking skills
- previous customer service experience
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to interact well with others
- ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically
- physical ability to stand, walk and move through casino F&B operation areas
- maintain stamina and mental attitude under pressure
- work in hot and cold temperatures, loud noises
- handle objects up to 50 pounds
- follow safety precautions
- work in environment where smoking is permitted
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- culinary education or experience preferred
- two years of intermediate cooking skills required
- previous customer service experience required
- excellent communication skills including reading, writing and speaking effectively
- ability to interact well with customers and employees
- ability to resolve problems and conflicts diplomatically
Job Duties
- Rotate between cooking stations and restaurants in hot temperature areas
- have command of all kitchen stations including roast, fry, pasta, vegetable, grill, pantry, breakfast, sauté and high volume cooking
- maintain proper food temperatures according to ServSafe standards
- properly label, date and rotate all food products
- have knowledge of recipes, equipment operation, and cooking techniques
- review production schedule to determine food requirements
- assemble supplies and equipment for daily cooking activities
- follow production sheets and records
- regulate oven, broiler, and grill temperatures
- use various cooking pots, pans, and equipment
- work harmoniously in a strenuous environment
- report to work well-groomed in full uniform with badge
- provide prompt, friendly and courteous food and beverage service
- maintain hospitality and positive body language with guests and staff
- understand and comply with Seneca Gaming Corporation information security policies
- provide exceptional customer service in a professional manner
- adhere to attendance guidelines
- complete required training programs within nine months
- attend necessary meetings
- perform other duties as assigned
