Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and move through the dining area for long periods
  • Must be able to carry trays weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must comply with all Seneca Gaming Corporation policies and procedures
  • Ability to speak English clearly and interact positively with guests
  • Completion of all required training within nine months
  • Must maintain professional appearance and adherence to uniform policy

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred
  • At least three years of fine dining server experience preferred
  • Proficient in large tray service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically
  • Outgoing and friendly personality
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Organized and efficient time management
  • Team player

Job Duties

  • Report to work on time and well-groomed wearing full uniform with badge on upper left side
  • Provide professional, friendly, and courteous food and beverage service to guests
  • Maintain full knowledge of menu, wine list, and daily features
  • Greet guests within one minute and serve with positive body language
  • Serve and clear tables, replenish beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Be knowledgeable of fine dining American service standards and proper wine service
  • Follow all policies and procedures including liquor laws and company guidelines
  • Assist co-workers and perform side work duties as assigned by management
  • Maintain an organized, clean work station and dining area
  • Observe and report guest feedback to management promptly
