Job Requirements
- Formal education equivalent of BS degree in Marketing, Broadcast Communications, Journalism or related field
- Related experience may substitute two years experience equals one year education
- Two years marketing, sales, project management, or media experience preferred
- Organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Skilled in Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop
- Working knowledge of Basecamp encouraged
- Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new systems
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience or interest in coordinating corporate and community events
- Ability to make quick and appropriate decisions
- Ability to gain cooperation of others
- Some in-state travel required
- Flexible to work some evening and weekend events
- Must have or be able to obtain valid Oklahoma driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Capable of handling physical and mental job requirements including verbal communication in English, reading computer monitor data, detailed hearing, remaining sedentary and traveling to work location, manual dexterity, data analysis, concentration, reasoning, writing, emotional stress endurance, and lifting 25 pounds unaided
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Execute marketing plans, duties, and events by working seamlessly with other Griffin Media divisions, departments, and external vendors
- Demonstrate attention to detail and understand the importance of meeting deadlines, benchmarks, and overcommunication
- Work closely with Director of Marketing, Marketing Manager, and Creative Services Manager to develop marketing plans and promotional spots
- Effectively manage own timelines and deadlines to meet overall company objectives and goals
- Develop engaging content for various platforms including social media, website, and email newsletters
- Coordinate promotions, community events, and partnerships with local organizations to enhance the station's visibility and engagement
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned, including driving an automobile for company business
