Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred
- Prior experience in marketing or communications roles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Willingness to work occasional additional hours for special projects and events
- Ability to work on-site and not eligible for remote work
- Valid driver’s license to perform company business driving duties
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
- Experience in marketing or communications, particularly in media or broadcasting, is advantageous
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with social media platforms and digital content creation
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects
- Experience with event coordination is a plus
Job Duties
- Execute marketing plans, duties, and events by working seamlessly with other Griffin Media divisions, departments, and external vendors
- Demonstrate attention to detail and understand the importance of meeting deadlines, benchmarks, and overcommunication
- Work closely with Director of Marketing, Marketing Manager, and Creative Services Manager to develop marketing plans and promotional spots
- Effectively manage own timelines and deadlines to meet overall company objectives and goals
- Develop engaging content for various platforms including social media, website, and email newsletters
- Coordinate promotions, community events, and partnerships with local organizations to enhance the station’s visibility and engagement
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned including driving an automobile for company business
