Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent experience
- able to read, write, and interpret menus and other written tools
- ability to work as part of a team and communicate well with supervisor and co-workers, and with customers
- able to lift up to 40 pounds without assistance
- capable of learning food sanitation and safety procedures
- able to follow directions in an efficient manner
- able to work in an environment that can reach 90 degrees fahrenheit
- able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
- able to stoop, and bend or twist at the neck and trunk while performing the duties of the job
- able to use hand strength to grasp tools, and reach with arms and hands

Job Duties
- prepares food as directed by supervisor or cook
- maintain production and temperature records for all foods, controlling quality and quantity of food
- serve meals to customers or perform cashiering functions during meal service
- receive products being delivered and assure proper storage
- perform basic cashier duties, including meal payment processing, maintaining students' meal accounts, computer functions, and maintaining petty cash
- clean and sanitize equipment following all required state and federal guidelines
- plan ahead for the week's menu, communicate needs with the supervisor and utilize food products to maintain freshness
- operate all cooking and cleaning equipment as instructed
- maintain dress code as instructed
- all other duties as assigned by the supervisor
