Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One year experience bartending required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of two years of college preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform duties as bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server or other positions as needed
- Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements
- Ability to handle money and make change
- Ability to operate necessary machines and equipment including POS and kitchen tools
- Ability to manage difficult situations professionally
- Ability to open and close the bar and maintain cleanliness
- Ability to distinguish currency denominations for transactions
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One year experience bartending required
- Two or more years of bartender and supervisory experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of two years of college preferred
- Ability to take written and verbal direction in English
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks
- Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements
- Ability to handle money and use office machines
- Ability to operate POS software, cash registers, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to handle difficult situations professionally while leading team members
- Ability to open and close bar and maintain supply inventory
- Ability to distinguish between different currency denominations and make appropriate change
Job Duties
- Open and close the hotel kitchen plus bar following company policies and procedures
- Maintain food preparation and hotel bar area cleanliness and organization
- Serve and assist guests with a high standard of hospitality
- Mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- Perform duties of bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server as needed
- Handle money accurately and make change
- Respond diplomatically to difficult situations and lead other team members professionally
