Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years old or older
  • One year experience bartending required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of two years of college preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform duties as bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server or other positions as needed
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements
  • Ability to handle money and make change
  • Ability to operate necessary machines and equipment including POS and kitchen tools
  • Ability to manage difficult situations professionally
  • Ability to open and close the bar and maintain cleanliness
  • Ability to distinguish currency denominations for transactions

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years old or older
  • One year experience bartending required
  • Two or more years of bartender and supervisory experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of two years of college preferred
  • Ability to take written and verbal direction in English
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements
  • Ability to handle money and use office machines
  • Ability to operate POS software, cash registers, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to handle difficult situations professionally while leading team members
  • Ability to open and close bar and maintain supply inventory
  • Ability to distinguish between different currency denominations and make appropriate change

Job Duties

  • Open and close the hotel kitchen plus bar following company policies and procedures
  • Maintain food preparation and hotel bar area cleanliness and organization
  • Serve and assist guests with a high standard of hospitality
  • Mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform duties of bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server as needed
  • Handle money accurately and make change
  • Respond diplomatically to difficult situations and lead other team members professionally
