Job Requirements
- must be 21 years old or older
- one experience bartending required
- requires a high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to take written and verbal direction in English
- ability to mix and serve drinks in a fast-paced environment
- ability to obtain and maintain certifications per company requirements
- ability to handle money and operate relevant machines
- ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations
- ability to open and close bar and maintain cleanliness
Job Qualifications
- must be 21 years old or older
- one experience bartending required
- two or more years of bartender and supervisory experience preferred
- requires a high school diploma or equivalent
- completion of two years of college preferred
- ability to take written and verbal direction in English and communicate effectively in English
- ability to mix and serve drinks in a fast-paced environment
- ability to perform multiple roles such as bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server
- ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements
- ability to handle money, make change and utilize office machines
- ability to operate machines and equipment including cash register, POS software, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment
- ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations and people while maintaining professionalism
- ability to open and close bar, stock supplies, and maintain cleanliness
- ability to distinguish between different denominations of currency and make appropriate change
Job Duties
- open and close the hotel Kitchen+Bar following company policies and procedures
- maintain the food prep and hotel bar area in a clean, well-organized manner
- serve and assist guests with drinks and hospitality needs
- provide knowledgeable answers regarding the hotel, local area, and events
- mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- handle monetary transactions including making change and operating POS systems
- perform duties of bartender, prep cook, cocktail server or other positions as needed
