Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or older
- one year of bartending experience required
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- ability to communicate in English
- ability to mix and serve drinks
- ability to perform bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server duties
- ability to obtain and maintain certifications
- ability to handle money and make change
- ability to operate machines and equipment
- professionalism in dealing with guests and team members
- ability to open and close bar
- ability to distinguish currency denominations
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old or older
- one year of bartending experience required
- two or more years of bartender and supervisory experience preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- completion of two years of college preferred
- ability to take written and verbal direction and communicate effectively in English
- ability to mix and serve drinks in a fast-paced environment
- ability to perform multiple roles including bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server
- ability to obtain and maintain appropriate certifications
- ability to handle money and operate office machines
- professionalism in dealing with guests and team members
Job Duties
- Open and close the hotel kitchen and bar following company policies and procedures
- maintain the food prep and bar areas clean, organized, and well-stocked
- serve and assist guests with hospitality and professionalism
- mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- perform duties of bartender, prep cook, cocktail server, or other positions as needed
- handle money, make change, and operate equipment including cash register and POS software
- diplomatically handle difficult situations and lead other team members when necessary
