Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One year of bartending experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain certifications required by the company
- Ability to take written and verbal directions in English and communicate effectively
- Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle money and make change
- Ability to operate related machines and equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to open and close the bar
- Ability to distinguish currency denominations and make accurate change
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One year of bartending experience required, two or more years preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required, two years of college preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Excellent customer service skills and professionalism
- Ability to handle money and utilize office machines
- Ability to operate equipment such as cash register, POS software, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment
Job Duties
- Open and close the hotel kitchen and bar following company policies
- Maintain the food prep and hotel bar area in a clean and organized manner
- Serve and assist guests with excellent customer service
- Mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- Perform duties of bartender, prep cook, cocktail server, and other positions as needed
- Handle money, make change, and use office machines during daily activities
- Maintain supplies necessary for mixing cocktails and clean bar areas
- Answer guest questions about the hotel, area, and events
- Uphold the Drury culture of integrity, service, and hospitality at all times
