Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or older
- at least one year bartending experience
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- ability to handle money, make change and utilize office machines
- ability to operate cash register, POS software, dishwashers, kitchen equipment
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to open and close bar and maintain bar area
- ability to distinguish currency denominations and make appropriate change
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old or older
- at least one year experience bartending required
- two or more years of bartender experience preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent
- completion of two years of college preferred
- ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements
- ability to take written and verbal direction in English and communicate effectively in English
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of team members
- ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations and people while maintaining professionalism
Job Duties
- Open and close the hotel Kitchen+Bar following company policies and procedures
- maintain the food prep and hotel bar area in a clean and well-organized manner
- serve and assist guests with high standards of integrity, service, and hospitality
- present a positive image promoting the Drury culture to customers and fellow team members
- have general knowledge of the hotel, area, and events to answer questions
- mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- perform duties of bartender, prep cook, cocktail server, or other positions as needed
