Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years old or older
  • at least one year bartending experience
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to handle money, make change and utilize office machines
  • ability to operate cash register, POS software, dishwashers, kitchen equipment
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to open and close bar and maintain bar area
  • ability to distinguish currency denominations and make appropriate change

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years old or older
  • at least one year experience bartending required
  • two or more years of bartender experience preferred
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • completion of two years of college preferred
  • ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements
  • ability to take written and verbal direction in English and communicate effectively in English
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of team members
  • ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations and people while maintaining professionalism

Job Duties

  • Open and close the hotel Kitchen+Bar following company policies and procedures
  • maintain the food prep and hotel bar area in a clean and well-organized manner
  • serve and assist guests with high standards of integrity, service, and hospitality
  • present a positive image promoting the Drury culture to customers and fellow team members
  • have general knowledge of the hotel, area, and events to answer questions
  • mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
  • perform duties of bartender, prep cook, cocktail server, or other positions as needed
