Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One year bartending experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements
- Ability to take written and verbal direction in English
- Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks
- Ability to handle money and make change
- Ability to operate cash register, POS software, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to open and close the bar and maintain cleanliness
- Ability to distinguish currency denominations
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One year bartending experience required
- Two or more years bartending experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of two years of college preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate certifications per company requirements
- Ability to take written and verbal direction in English and communicate effectively
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to operate kitchen and bar equipment
- Ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations and people while maintaining professionalism
Job Duties
- Open and close the hotel kitchen and bar following company policies and procedures
- Maintain food prep and bar areas in a clean and organized manner
- Mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- Assist guests by providing excellent customer service and answering questions about the hotel and local area
- Perform duties of bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server as needed
- Handle money, make change, and operate cash register and POS software
- Obtain supplies necessary for mixing cocktails and maintain the bar area
