Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or older
- able to work flexible schedules
- ability to take written and verbal directions in English
- ability to mix and serve a variety of drinks quickly and accurately
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- ability to handle money and make correct change
- ability to operate machines and kitchen equipment
- strong interpersonal skills to diplomatically manage difficult situations
- ability to open and close bar and kitchen areas
- knowledge of local hotel and area events
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year bartending experience required, two or more years preferred
- ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications
- effective communication skills in English
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to handle money and operate office machines
- ability to perform duties of bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server or other positions as needed
Job Duties
- Open and close hotel kitchen and bar following company policies and procedures
- maintain clean and organized food prep and hotel bar area
- serve and assist guests professionally and courteously
- mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- handle money, make change, and utilize office machines
- operate kitchen and bar equipment including cash register and POS software
- communicate effectively with guests and team members including handling difficult situations diplomatically
