Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years old or older
  • able to work flexible schedules
  • ability to take written and verbal directions in English
  • ability to mix and serve a variety of drinks quickly and accurately
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
  • ability to handle money and make correct change
  • ability to operate machines and kitchen equipment
  • strong interpersonal skills to diplomatically manage difficult situations
  • ability to open and close bar and kitchen areas
  • knowledge of local hotel and area events

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one year bartending experience required, two or more years preferred
  • ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications
  • effective communication skills in English
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to handle money and operate office machines
  • ability to perform duties of bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server or other positions as needed

Job Duties

  • Open and close hotel kitchen and bar following company policies and procedures
  • maintain clean and organized food prep and hotel bar area
  • serve and assist guests professionally and courteously
  • mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
  • handle money, make change, and utilize office machines
  • operate kitchen and bar equipment including cash register and POS software
  • communicate effectively with guests and team members including handling difficult situations diplomatically
