Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in bartending or hospitality preferred
- Ability to mix a wide variety of drinks
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate bar and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to handle difficult situations professionally
Job Duties
- Open and close hotel bar following company policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and food prep areas
- Mix and serve a wide variety of drinks
- Operate machines and equipment including cash register, dishwashers, speed batch ovens, and microwaves
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Handle cash transactions accurately including distinguishing currency denominations and making change
- Assist guests with inquiries about the hotel, local area, and events
