Job Requirements
- must be 21 years old or older
- ability to take written and verbal direction in English
- ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- ability to handle money and make change
- ability to operate machines and equipment such as cash register and POS software
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to open and close bar and maintain supplies
- ability to distinguish between currency denominations
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- one year bartending experience required
- two or more years bartending experience preferred
- ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to mix and serve drinks efficiently
- ability to handle money and use office equipment
- knowledge of opening and closing bar duties
Job Duties
- open and close the hotel kitchen and bar following company policies and procedures
- maintain food prep and bar areas clean and well-organized
- serve and assist guests with drinks and hospitality
- provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with guests and team members
- handle money, make change, and operate cash registers and POS systems
- mix and serve a wide variety of cocktails in a fast-paced environment
- answer guest questions regarding the hotel, local area, and events
