Job Requirements
- Frequently push and/or pull up to 250 lbs
- Frequently lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and/or chest levels, and over head
- Occasionally bend, reach, twist, climb, squat, kneel, communicate via radio, and distinguish between shades of color
- Constantly walk, stand, and use of hearing and vision
- Indoor and outdoor work environment
- Exposure to smoky and noisy conditions
- Work in extreme hot and cold temperatures, including humidity
- Be cautious of slippery surfaces, chemical agents, and exposure to dust, fumes and/or gases
Job Qualifications
- 6 months of experience preferred
- Previous experience working in a team or group environment
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to functionally communicate occupational-based English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
Job Duties
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
- Use correct chemicals for designated items for cleaning and sanitizing various surfaces according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements
- Operate and maintain various machines such as dishwashing machines, garbage disposals, sinks, grills, grease traps, broilers, pots, pans, utensils and all other kitchen equipment and surfaces including the breakdown of machines as assigned
- Transport mats to loading dock area and clean to standards
- Transport garbage containers and all other debris from the kitchen area to designated dumpsters
- Adhere to all Health Department sanitation and safety regulations as required
- Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow employees
- Perform other duties as assigned
