Job Requirements
- At least 6 months experience related to dishwashing or equivalent combination of training, education and experience
- ability to follow directions and work harmoniously with coworkers
- physical ability to perform duties including standing for long periods
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in variable environmental conditions
- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- willingness to assist teammates and perform additional duties as needed
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to be physically mobile, stand and walk for 8 to 12-hour shifts
- excellent guest service and communication skills
- must be able to work in areas containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds and air quality
- must present a professional appearance and demeanor
- regular and punctual attendance
Job Duties
- Provide superior customer service
- wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
- sort and remove trash, cleaning garbage cans with water or steam
- clean, mop and sweep entire kitchen area including walk-in coolers and freezers
- maintain daily cleanliness and maintenance of dish machine
- assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks and provide cooks with needed items
- observe Health Department regulations regarding food handling, storage, proper temperature, and cleanliness
- use and maintain all assigned areas and equipment in a sanitary, safe and effective manner
- clean ceiling tiles and vents
- perform additional responsibilities as requested by management
- assist other team members as needed
- complete other duties as requested
