Job Requirements

  • Must have 6 months plus experience in a diverse kitchen environment
  • Must be available at least 20 hours per week
  • Working Tuesday night into Wednesday early morning and Saturday night into Sunday early morning is required as peak food days
  • Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a diverse kitchen environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication skills to report kitchen activities
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
  • Ability to work varied afternoon and overnight shifts primarily on weekends and select weekdays
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Communicate daily kitchen activities and needs to the Studio Kitchen Supervisor
  • Oversee cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and facilities
  • Ensure safety regulations are followed
  • Maintain and clean all kitchen equipment including dishes, pots, pans, workspaces, utensils, walk-ins, floors, and walls
  • Actively assist in food utilization to lower food costs and streamline inventory
  • Support the Inventory Control Chief in breaking down daily inventory deliveries and proper storage
  • Collaborate with kitchen users and food preparation teams to optimize kitchen operations
