Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to perform basic cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Ability to follow health and safety regulations
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 75 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work in high areas
- Level 4 Gaming License required
- Ability to work in a noisy and sometimes smoky casino environment
- Ability to complete essential job function screenings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to perform basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must have a Level 4 Gaming License
Job Duties
- Work with barbacks and stewards to ensure cleanliness and hygiene of work area, tabletops, floors, and equipment in accordance with casino standards
- Perform detailed cleaning of heavy kitchen equipment as assigned
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance cleaning
- Work in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner, abiding by all health and safety regulations
- Ensure compliance with management standards for cleaning of equipment, floor drains, vent-a-hoods, trash areas, and dock areas
- Use proper cleaning chemicals in accordance with MSDS guidelines
- Maintain knowledge of sanitation, dishwashing, maintenance, and safety standards
- Clean walls and ceiling tiles
- Mop and sweep bar, restaurant, kitchen, and service areas
- Remove empty bottles and trash
- Promote outstanding guest services continuously
- Participate as a team member with bartenders, servers, supervisors, chefs, and other employees to ensure efficient operation
- Anticipate needs of coworkers and guests
