Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to perform basic cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • Ability to follow health and safety regulations
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work in high areas
  • Level 4 Gaming License required
  • Ability to work in a noisy and sometimes smoky casino environment
  • Ability to complete essential job function screenings

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to perform basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Ability to handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Must have a Level 4 Gaming License

Job Duties

  • Work with barbacks and stewards to ensure cleanliness and hygiene of work area, tabletops, floors, and equipment in accordance with casino standards
  • Perform detailed cleaning of heavy kitchen equipment as assigned
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance cleaning
  • Work in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner, abiding by all health and safety regulations
  • Ensure compliance with management standards for cleaning of equipment, floor drains, vent-a-hoods, trash areas, and dock areas
  • Use proper cleaning chemicals in accordance with MSDS guidelines
  • Maintain knowledge of sanitation, dishwashing, maintenance, and safety standards
  • Clean walls and ceiling tiles
  • Mop and sweep bar, restaurant, kitchen, and service areas
  • Remove empty bottles and trash
  • Promote outstanding guest services continuously
  • Participate as a team member with bartenders, servers, supervisors, chefs, and other employees to ensure efficient operation
  • Anticipate needs of coworkers and guests
