Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Experience in a similar kitchen utility or dishwashing role preferred
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety standards
- strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items
- effective communication skills
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Sets up and operates dish machine and pot and pan sinks
- keeps area clean at all times
- prepares tableware for washing by removing food residue, sorting china, and running tableware through dish machine
- properly stores all clean and sanitized tableware, buffet platters, and displays
- gathers and properly washes, rinses, and sanitizes all cooking utensils and kitchen equipment and returns them to their proper places
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors, coolers, storage areas, etc
- cleans garbage cans with soap and water on a regular basis
- breaks down and empties boxes
- performs food preparation tasks as assigned
