Job Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in a professional restaurant kitchen preferred
- personable and enjoys working with people and a diverse team
- availability to work weekends, day shifts and evening shifts
- valid Food Handlers Certification Card or ability to complete company provided course within 30 days of hire
- ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods
- ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 40 pounds
- ability to frequently bend and reach overhead
- ability to lift and use utensils including chopping and grip kitchen equipment
- ability to work in fluctuating temperatures from hot to cold
- ability to work near open flames, hot cooking equipment and steam
- ability to perform repetitive motion activities
- ability to work in tight spaces
- ability to recognize and comprehend directions and spatial cues
- ability to sit, squat and kneel occasionally
- ability to move around restaurant carrying items

Job Duties
- Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperatures by regulating ovens, fryers and other kitchen equipment
- Conduct proper tasting procedures, product rotation, storage, and labeling to maintain product quality
- Carry product, equipment, and utensils to and from storage and work areas
- Maintain sufficient product levels at line stations
- Understand and follow orders on the KDS screen
- Clean and sanitize workstation, kitchen equipment, and utensils
- Load utensils and kitchen tools into dishwashing machines and keep dish area organized
- Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
- Sweep and mop restaurant spaces including common areas like restrooms
- Reinforce guest trust by complying with sanitation standards, portion sizes, recipes, and kitchen policies
- Assist with receiving and storage of incoming orders
- Take initiative to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Communicate equipment, product, quality or safety concerns to leadership
- Work collaboratively with team members to support training and meet objectives
- Maintain regular attendance at scheduled shifts, training, and meetings
