Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one plus years experience as a cook in the restaurant industry
  • ability to read, follow standardized recipes and adhere to food safety procedures
  • completion of cast certification program or progress towards completion
  • obtained all legally required state or local training and certificates
  • completion of Regal Entertainment Responsible Beverage Server training
  • preferred ServeSafe certification
  • ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • capable of performing calculations and error correction
  • ability to identify and solve problems independently
  • able to work under pressure
  • maintain excellent personal hygiene and compliance with dress code
  • physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 60 lbs, and performing various physical tasks
  • obtain food handler card where applicable
  • SDS training completed

Job Qualifications

  • One plus years experience as a cook in the restaurant industry
  • ability to read and follow standardized recipes
  • strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
  • completion of cast certification program as a cast member and concessionist or progress towards completion
  • completed legally required state or local training and obtained required certificates
  • completed Regal Entertainment Responsible Beverage Server training
  • ServeSafe certification preferred
  • good public speaking and communication skills
  • basic math ability with speed and accuracy
  • strong reasoning skills including problem identification, data evaluation, and decision making
  • excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management
  • ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • remain knowledgeable on all food menu items including specials and promotions
  • ensure all food menu items are prepared and served per standardized recipes and portioning standards
  • measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
  • collaborate with managers, cooks, and servers to prepare meals timely
  • maintain accurate food inventories
  • properly store and rotate stock items
  • clean and sanitize the food prep area and kitchen throughout and at the end of shifts
  • cook a variety of foods maintaining proper flavor and appearance
  • complete daily kitchen logs including cooling, reheating, food and equipment temperatures
  • comply with all food safety regulations and health department rules
  • report damages, maintenance issues, and suspicious activity immediately
  • ensure guest satisfaction by greeting and responding to guest inquiries and complaints professionally
  • maintain excellent personal hygiene and adhere to dress code
  • operate and clean all kitchen equipment properly
  • follow all opening, closing, emergency, evacuation, and robbery procedures
  • obtain required food handler cards and maintain SDS training status
