Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Available to work primarily evening shifts including weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to follow established recipes and procedures
- Must have reliable transportation to the Metropolis Resort
- Ability to work 16 to 25 hours per week
- Ability to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, and swing shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous kitchen or food service experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals for guests at the resort's two restaurants: City Pizza Co. (pizza) and City Eats (sit-down restaurant)
- Follow established recipes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality
- Work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Ensure that all food is cooked and presented according to standards and regulations
- Prep and stock during down time
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service at our kitchen counter
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards servers and all other restaurant staff
