  • Maintain all appropriate certifications including Food Handlers Card
  • Clear communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting
  • Experience as a pizza maker is a plus
  • Service-oriented mindset with desire to deliver high-quality food
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Basic understanding or ability to learn basic sanitation and workplace safety regulations
  • Basic understanding or ability to learn food-handling, preparation, and cooking procedures
  • Previous experience in hospitality and service industry is a plus
  • Ability to stay organized, prioritize work, and complete tasks timely in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess and maintain appropriate certifications such as Food Handler Card and LEAD Training

Job Duties

  • Bake pizza and prepare related ingredients such as dough, make fresh sauce, chop toppings
  • Prepare batches of food cooked to order or kept warm until sold including custom and standard pizzas, appetizers, and sides
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, and deep fryers
  • Prepare and cook food according to order slips or verbal directions and verify quality and quantity
  • Multitask by cooking several different orders simultaneously ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction
  • Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils to maintain cleanliness
  • Monitor food inventory, clean cooking station, sterilize equipment, and replace supplies
  • Maintain sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas and utensils
  • Follow proper cleaning and handwashing standards
  • Perform additional duties such as deep cleaning tasks as assigned
