Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a kitchen supervisory or culinary role
  • Availability to work various shifts including weekends, weekdays and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in culinary supervision or similar kitchen leadership role
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to prepare various dishes including fish and meats
  • Strong communication and team support skills
  • Ability to manage and schedule kitchen staff
  • Attention to detail in food presentation and quality
  • Familiarity with compliance regulations in food handling and safety

Job Duties

  • Oversee preparation of food in all areas during assigned shift
  • Prepare fish and meats
  • Assist and support kitchen team members
  • Communicate any challenges to Chef/Sous Chef
  • Assist Chef/Sous Chef in overseeing cleanliness and sanitation
  • Set up daily specials and happy hour food according to schedule and spaces
  • Visually inspect food quality and presentation
  • Prepare staff schedules with guidance of Chef/Sous Chef
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company food handling and food storage procedures
